Useful tools.
No strings attached.
Our roadmap keeps the focus on real people and practical community needs. Features earn their place by making the directory more useful, not by harvesting attention.
Public directory and unvetted profiles
AvailableDiscover independently vetted businesses in the main directory. Pending nominations remain on their separate unvetted page, with no paid placement or behavioral tracking.
Meet our volunteer team
Available nowSee the active volunteers who review listings and find their public X accounts in our volunteer directory. Only authorized volunteer votes count toward a listing’s approval.
Permanent Corner identities and replaceable X accounts
Available nowOne stable Corner of X member identity can hold a current X handle and a record of former handles. Suspensions and username changes won't erase earlier contributions. Member-provided X handles are managed directly in the invite-only Corner account, without API access or password sharing.
Four-step listing approvals
Available nowPropose a listing, receive staff approval for community voting, then collect three independent Yes votes with no unresolved objections. The listing becomes vetted automatically. Public profiles identify the proposer, current voters and a dated, X-attributed change history. Votes survive subsequent listing and photo updates.
Attributed reviews and ratings
PlannedWritten experiences and ratings tied to stable Corner of X members and their member-provided X handles. Transparent moderation, edit histories, business replies and disputes, without anonymous review manipulation.
Customer experiences, photographs and social proof
PlannedCustomers will be able to share reviews, product photographs and real examples of completed work. Where a customer posts the experience on X, we intend to link to the original X post so visitors can inspect the source. These experiences will never substitute for the three independent volunteer vouches required for listing approval.
Independent third-party audits
PlannedWe intend to invite independent organizations and specialists to audit our security, review procedures, decision records and factual claims. We will publish appropriate findings and remediation progress while protecting private information and security-sensitive details.
Reviewed business designations
Available nowOptional designations such as Veteran-owned and American-made products require a separate review. Reviewers can supply public evidence or explicitly accept responsibility through personal review or direct knowledge. The method is recorded and labeled. Designations cannot be purchased and appear only after the listing also earns community approval.
American-exclusive is a proposed designation while its exact eligibility standard is defined. Nothing is automatically awarded or inferred from a listing.
Affiliates, employees and collaborators
Available nowConnect a business to the people behind it: employees, owners, authors, contributors, contractors and professional collaborators. Add a separate X profile for every person you want to include, with an optional name and relationship. Visitors can open their profiles directly. Associations are supplied with the listing and do not certify account ownership or imply a personal endorsement.
Giveaways that leave no contact list behind
Under considerationA limited-life giveaway service collects only the information needed for entry, eligibility and prize handoff. After the giveaway is finished, entrant data is destroyed. Non-personal selection proofs remain; marketing lists do not.
Giveaway rules, eligibility requirements and applicable law will be addressed as part of the feature before entries open.
Community sourcing requests
Under considerationAsk the community to identify a reputable provider for a specific need. Real members respond with approved listings, not opaque engagement algorithms or paid recommendations.
Volunteer-curated field guides
Under considerationPractical editorial guides covering trades, services, creators and small businesses, assembled by volunteers from fully approved listings.
Public decision-integrity records
Under considerationCryptographic records link published listing versions to their approving volunteers and the decision history. Important changes remain independently auditable without publishing private evidence or visitor information.
